Appletini

I have spent the last two weekends at 'Appletini' a sweet new squirt spot in Yorkshire. Situated at Appletreewick on the River Wharfe this is spot offers soft smooth rides on a righty seem half way down the falls and goes in super low and normal low levels.

It is a great spot for learning how to mystery move as it smooth style allows you to experienment and learn how a seam works.

New: Downtime Asylum

I have just received my new 'Worlds' Asylum boat from Downtime Dave and its awesome.

Super small and very shiny I am looking forward to spending alot of time in it over the next few weeks as I train for the Worlds.

Next time you see me on the water check out the funky flip paint and see it change from purple to silver to red to blue and gold as the sun reflects of it in the water.

Cheers Dave

Meanwood Village Association and the Meanwood Institute come to the rescue

Over the last few months I have been actively seeking support to help me fund my training and competition costs in the lead up to the World Championships.

During this time I was very fortunate to speak to and meet Councilor Brenda Lancaster from Meanwood, Leeds who put me in touch with Meanwood legend and fundrasing specialists Peter and Christine Bewell. Within just a few weeks Peter and Christine had set about helping me raise the funds for a new boat for the Worlds.

I would like to thank them for all their help. So far they have already raised £400 in donations from the Meanwood Village Association and the Meanwood Institute and on the 13th August they will be hosting a coffee morning at the Meanwood Institute.

Come along and join us at the Meanwood Institute on Green Road for a coffee morning and tombola

Thursday 13th August 10am until noon.

Thanks James

I have recently received a generous offer of financial support from James to help me with my training in the lead up to the Worlds and would like to say 'Thank You'
