Back in Training

Despite the sudden drop in temperature over here in the UK i'm really enjoying being back out on the water and training at Nottingham with Den for this winters events. However that said i'm working hard on putting together a plan to escape to warmer climates and having just booked some flights it now looks like it will be another amazing winter. Starting with a month training on the White Nile in Uganda with Den. I'll then be heading back down under to train with the New Zealand and Australian Freestyle Teams. A great end to another amazing year.

Some quality British autumn surf training with Den

But first i've got another few big events still to come in the UK. So its time to bring out the drysuit and skull cap and put in some quality hours of cold weather training at the ditch (HPP) in preparation for  the GB team selections event on the 9th November (Nottingham) and then head south to the Thames to train on the mighty Hurley waves for the famous Hurley Classic which looks like it will be a very popular international event on the 16th & 17th November. Check out the link below to the events official facebook page and if you feel like joining in the fun there a whole load of events happening over the weekend for paddlers of all ages and abilities. Or just come along and watch the weekends action.
